Will RTC 2.0 support Eclipse 3.6, Helios?

Hi everyone!

Today Eclipse released a new version, 3.6, codiname Helios.

I've used RTC 2.0 successfully with Helios since milestone 5, also working on M6, but it stopped working since M7. It also haven't worked for RC 1 and maybe 2, if I remember, and since RC2 or 3 it started working again, but the Developer's Taskboard shows only thin white (empty) lines in place of the stories and tasks.

Sorry if this is a know problem, but if not, is there any plan to support Helios in RTC 2.0?

Best regards!

Mauricio

Mauricio, there are no current plans for RTC 2.x to support Eclipse 3.6 However RTC 3.0 will be released later this year and it will support Eclipse 3.5.x and Eclipse 3.6.

Hi, as a follow up to this, is it possible to use RTC 3 as an eclipse plugin (eclipse 3.6) against an RTC 2.0.0.2iFix3 server?

I really would like to upgrade my eclipse installation, but this is kind of a show stopper.

Thanks,

Heine

You will need a RTC 3 server in order to use the RTC 3 client.
