RQM 3.0 M6 is missing Process Templates

I have tried to install RQM 3.0 M6 in my local machine. The installation was problem-free. When I did the setup (https://localhost:9443/jazz/setup) everything went well, except that I could not see any RQM temp licenses available (only RTC ones).

When I try to create a project area, I first click on the "Deploy predefined process templates" link. I get the message "The predefined process templates have been deployed successfully.", but no process templates are available to be chosen, and therefore I cannot create an RQM project area.

Is this because there are no RQM evaluation licenses with RQM 3.0 M6? Is it possible to evaluate RQM 3.0 at all?

Please, help!

Hi Inrid,

There is a URL change in 3.0. See the 3.0M6 release notes, specifically this section:
As a reminder, the URL for the Rational Quality Manager server is now https://host:port/rqm/web/console.
Follow these steps:

1) Run the RQM setup wizard at /rqm/setup
2) Try logging in at /rqm/web/console

Hope that helps.

If I try to go to https://localhost:9443/jazz/rqm/setup I get a HTTP Status 404 - The requested resource () is not available. Only https://localhost:9442/jazz/setup seems to work.

I have the same problem (HTTP 404) with https://localhost:9443/jazz/rqm/web/console/.

And if I run the setup from https://localhost:9442/jazz/setup I can only assign RRC and RTC licenses to my administration account (no RQM evaluation licenses here)!

I have tried installing version 3 M6, and version 3 M6a, and both give me the same problem. I have also tried to install RQM alone (without RRC and RTC), but still the same problem.

I don't know what else to try :(

If /rqm/setup is throwing a 404, you probably do not have RQM installed in the Jazz server instance (it is an optional component during the install).

Please check Start>All Programs>IBM Installation Manager>View Installed Packages. Check for the "Quality Manager" feature, as highlighted below.

If it's not there, go back to Installation Manager and use the "Modify" button to add it.

Let us know what you find.

Please note that you should be using https://localhost:9443/rqm/setup and https://localhost:9443/rqm/web/console, with no /jazz/ as you indicated above.

OK, I feel a little stupid right now! :?
It was of course the extra "/jazz" in the URL.
Thanks for the help. I got it working now.
