Keeping weight values in sync between test case and TER

Markus Nosse (15112828) | asked May 18 '10, 4:33 a.m.
Hi everyone,

we decided for our test project to have weight values in test case and corresponding execution record equal value. We had a hard time to achieve this, because these two had to be manually kept in sync.

When originally created the execution record inherits the weight value from the test case, but if subsequently you update the weight in the test case, it does not automatically get updated in the execution record.

Is there an easy way to keep the weight values in test cases and associated TERs in sync? What is the most desirable approach to achieve this?

Thanks in advance
Markus

All,

since RQM currently cannot keep the weight values in question in sync, I will go ahead and create an enhancement request for a future version of RQM. In case anyone knows a way how to achieve this in the meantime, please let me know.

Kind regards,
Markus
