Importing from ClearCase into Team Concert 2.0.0.2 Express-C

joseph mooney (61) | asked Apr 30 '10, 7:12 p.m.
In the TeamConcert Client under File/Import/Jazz Source Control/ClearCase Stream or Branch you are required to point to an Install Location for ccctools.
But The ClearCase Synchronizer does not ship with Express-C.
There is supposed to be a ClearCase importer but I cannot see where this option is available - how does one import from ClearCase in an Express-C client?

Currently, you need a Standard or Enterprise server to use the ClearCase
Synchronizer. If you are just using it for import (vs. for ongoing
synchronization), you can just use the 60 day free trial version of the
Standard/Enterprise server to do the import.

Thanks for the clarification.

It states https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/2.0.0.2iFix2 here that ClearCase importer is part of Express-C.
I suggest that this information be updated.

Oops. I had forgotten that an Express-C user is authorized to use the
importer subset of the synchronizer. New answer:

Just download the ClearCase Synchronizer from the Standard section of
the All Downloads page, and you should be able to use it to invoke the
synchronizer importer against your Express-C server (let me know if you
run into any trouble doing so, and we'll have the CC Synchronizer team
investigate).

Geoff
