Problem integrating RSAR 7.1.0.1 with RTC 2.0.0.2

Jose Miguel Ordax Cassa (2.4k4126100) | asked Feb 15 '10, 4:08 a.m.
Hi, I have followed all instructions at:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rsarhelp/v7r1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.xtools.analysis.rsar.common.doc/topics/t_rtc_build_setup_win.html

Basically:

1.- Install RSAR on top of RTC Client.
2.- Install RSAR on RTC Build machine.
3.- Define a Build Definition selecting RSAR option.
4.- Copy plugins and fetaures to another directory and create the link
as explained in the URL I commented.
5.- Restart JBE with -clean option.

Problem is that it doesn't matter what I do, I always get following
error in JBE:

2010-02-15 09:53:18 CRRTC3507W: Warning: No engine
participant found for post_build configuration element "Rational
Software Analyzer (RSAR)".

Any help?
Has -clean parameter to be set in any specific order?

Thanks in advance,

Chemi.

Ok. Found it...
Problem was that you can use back slash in the *.lnk file although you
are in Windows.

Hope this helps others,

Chemi.

Hi,

I am running into the same issue but I am absolutely certain that I am using forwards slashes. What else could be causing this issue?

I checked the platform.xml file and it is containing the RSAR update site referenced by the link file and the site contains the com.ibm.rsar.team_feature feature.xml which makes me thinking that the RSAR specific features were found.

Error:

2010-11-18 00:46:08 [Jazz build engine] CRRTC3507W: Warning: No engine participant found for post_build configuration element "Rational Software Analy

zer (RSAR)".
2010-11-18 00:46:08 [Jazz build engine] Waiting for request...

Environment:

* Windows 2003 Server SP2 64Bit
* RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix5 Team Concert Build System
* RSAR EE 7.1

Cheers
Daniel
