How links are stored in DNG baseline? In GC component DNG project area is baselined and ETM is not baselined, when ETM links are deleted then DNG baseline holds the link.

 Hi,

How links are stored in GC DNG project area?
If links are deleted in ETM project area then respective DNG baseline should also remove its links is that correct?

Now, DNG holds the ETM links even after deleting it from ETM artifacts.

Could you tell us the right behavior of Baseline links in DNG with ETM stream links.

Thank you very much in advance,

Thiru

I suspect that the question avoids 90% of the interesting information.

Deleting a link should never delete an object itself. In the tool, if you use the UI and delete a link between two objects, the link should disappear in both of the endpoints. If you are trying to use some kind of API, this might not be the case.

DNG does (afaik) not store any information about links to/from not DNG objects in DNG. DNG queries the LDX/TRS to find links to a requirement. The deletion of the link in ETM need to also perform updates to TRS/LDX to have any impact on DNG.

I do this as a comment so that others that have a better grip on this can chime in.
