What is the impact of existing Active Directory user names changing with corresponding LDAP user in EWM?

Is there some way to synch up the user names so that there is only a single user in EWM?  Also, is there a way to force the LDAP/EWM synchronization/update to occur in EWM?

As far as I am aware you can not "merge" users. If you have two users in ELM that should represent one, you can only archive one and try to change artifacts owned by it to be assigned to the one you want to keep.

If you want to change user ID's in LDAP and move the Jazz User to the new ID you can do that as explained in https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/changing-the-jazz-user-id-using-the-rtc-plain-java-client-libraries/

Note that this does not work for DNG as mentioned in the article.
