is there any way to automate the license assignment in CLM ?

 Yes. In the past https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2017/03/29/managing-contributor-licenses-using-the-plain-java-client-libraries/ worked. You can also use the repotools command to assign licenses.

Hi,
You can assign a default License type in the JTS setup?  if you want to assign a default when users are created/added.
Not sure if this will help or you are talking about assigning different license types for users etc.

you can set the default licenses when adding a new user to the system by going to

https://yourserver:port/jts/admin#action=com.ibm.team.repository.admin.manageLicenses
then Server Information > Default Client Access License Key(s) (select Edit at the end of this menu) and choose the default licenses you want to allocate to the new users.
