Columns added under the "Column Display setting" section in a test script does not gets saved in RQM
If I add new columns in the column display setting in the test script and hit save, it will save it only for the current display or view, if I refresh or move to another script I will lose the setting I created and I have to recreate it every time I move to another script

Hi Salwa,

I think, you are talking about the Manual Steps section of manual test script editor. The current behavior is -

1. If user add a new column in the Manual Steps table using "Column Display Setting", that column will be saved only for that particular test script and for the current user. So, when the user refresh the browser or login back, he should see the expected column setting for that particular test script.
2. If the new user logs-in and open the test script, the newly added column will not be visible for him.
3. The column added for one test script will not have any effect on another test scripts.

If you are trying to create new script using new columns, then I will recommend you to create a template for Manual Test Script first and then use that template for creating new scripts. This way, the column settings will be persisted for all the test scripts (created using the same template) and for all the users.

For existing test scripts, I will suggest you to open an RFE in RQM for your scenario.

Thanks,
Vijay.
