Creating multiple work items

Eike Meyer (612211) | asked Oct 13 '09, 9:36 a.m.
Hi!

Is there a possibility to create multiple work items, eg I have an organizational task like wanting everyone to update an excel file. This is necessary for every team member. Is there any better way then setting up a WI and doing one duplication for every single user?

It might be better to use approvals in one work item. Then you can track completion in one place and close out the task when everybody has put in their approvals.

You can add multiple approvers for one approval task so it should be simple to add all your team members to the approval. You can also add a due date to let your team know when the excel file should be updated.

Otherwise, I don't think there's a bulk method of creating similar work items.
