Rational Insights ETL Jobs and DCC Jobs
Hello Team,
In our Organisation, we have Rational Insights 1.1.1.7 and recently we have installed JRS and DCC. DCC jobs are disabled and we are running only ETL jobs. In Staging Server we tried with DCC jobs and we were able to generate reports in Rational Insights as well as JRS. My question is, we are running ETL jobs for generating reports in Rational Insights and same with the ETL jobs is it possible to generate reports in JRS?

Hello Kiran,
the out of the box jobs for CLM in DCC and Insight are equivalent for the data they collect; so you can run one or the other.
In general DCC jobs are recommended as they are usually have better performances.

Hi Kiran,
As Francesco confirmed that you can run either DCC or ETL (via Data Manager or Data Movement Task) in Rational Insight for data collection, not both of them at the same time though.
However, you can use both Insight/Report Studio AND JRS/Report Builder to generate reports at the same time.
