 Hi Team,

My use case is that, I want to filter out some special character form my word document, while importing it into DNG?
like -> when I use this special character it gets converted into ? after import.

so I wanted to set initial scanner in DNG so that it should notify me if some special character appear in document which I am going to import.

How can I implement it using Plugin, Java API, etc

Please Suggest
Best Regards,
Krunal.

Hi Krunal,

This could only be done after the fact as there are no API's that will allow you to hook in to the import wizard to perform extra steps during import.  Out of curiosity, what characters are you finding that get converted after the import?

Hi Benjamin,

" -->"  This is the special character get converted into ? when I import it from Word Document to DNG.
I am using MS-Office 10, but this behavior I didn't observed in Ms-Office 7.

I also wanted to scan my document before importing, that it should be in my define format if not it should give me error message.

Regards,
Krunal.
