How can we make status of work item read only ?
User can't able to change work item status but back end using plugin or script it will change.
I have made status of work item read only but using plugin or script it will not changed.

You do not set the status/state of the work item directly. Rather, you carry out an action. In order to prevent a user from changing the state of a work item, you need to disallow the user to do certain actions by setting Permissions > Work Items > Save Work Item > Trigger a workflow action.

you could also try using pre-conditions operation behavior in RTC. I remember there some pre conditions available that allow us to set status of workitems read-only.. |
