Dear Team,

I have below scenario and wanted to understand the Preconditions working.

Project Area A

Stream A
Component A1
Component B1 ( Owned by Team in Project Area B)
1. I created workspace for Stream A
2. Updated some content in Component B1 and while delivering i was stopped by Precondition- Restrict changeset to specific work items.

My query is we didnt set this Precondition in Project Area A But this precondition is available Project Area B.
How is it triggerring? are precondition not PA Centric?


Can you throw some light on this and behaviour.

The owner of the manipulated item is the contributing factor. If something is owned by project area B and that specifies a precondition, that precondition is executed if that something is modified.
