WorkItem Template Feature- With Process Templates shared from Master Process Template

Hello Team,

We have below strucuture,

Project Area(Child) <- Process is used from Master Project Area (Master) and Any New Template changes is done in Master Project Area.

My question is follows:
1. Will Workitem Templates created at Child PA level will be wiped of when there is change in Process template of Master PA?
2. Are Workitem Templates in herited from Master Project Area?

Any reason you want to have work item templates in the master project area? The child PA can see the templates but may not be able to use them (e.g. the Filed Against will be invalid).

Links doesnt help. i am talking about Workitem Templates feature.
