Custom .config file to update existing custom category in RQM

Leesen Padayachee (9956119) | asked Mar 18 '17, 2:14 p.m.

 Hi

Is it possible to use the RQMExcelImporter and a custom config file to update and existing custom category in RQM? I see in the samples, you can create new categories/attributes using the import tool, but what I need is a way that I can import a new test case (which is possible) and also define that test case into an existing custom category. Please let me know if that is possible?

Thanks,
Leesen

Leesen,

Yes it is possible, if configuration file specified categories exist in target project then it will update otherwise it will create the new. Just ensure the configuration file specified category is identical to the one available in target project.
