CLM/RDNG: Is SQL Server Reporting Service used for something?

Ahounguio Jean Francois (20218) | asked Oct 12 '16, 2:37 p.m.
Hi Jazz Community,
We deployed CLM / RDNG using MSSQL Server 2012 as DB Manager.
We notice that a CPU loading growth until 98% due to the activities of SQL Server Reporting Service.
We need to know if this SQL Component is important or play any role in the CLM / RDNG deployment ?
We want to stop this service.
Rgds

It can be used to prepare and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports. The SSRS service provides an interface into Microsoft Visual Studio so that developers as well as SQL administrators can connect to SQL databases and use SSRS tools to format SQL reports in many complex ways.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

Hi,

No, the SSRS component does not play a role with CML or DNG.
The Jazz solution offers its own reporting tools, ie the IBM Jazz Reporting Services and IBM Rational Publishing Engine See the reporting section at https://jazz.net/products.
