Installing RQM on an existing Jazz Server.

Run the installer and RQM 2.0 will get installed in a new directory (RQM20). If your server is localhost, then RQM 2.0 will automatically point to your local JAZZ server. However, note that you will not be able to access the previous version of RQM without changing the port settings on your local.

Sanal, I have a Jazz server installed as part of RTC2.0 install. When I installed RQM it once again installed another Jazz server (obviously inside RQM install directory). I want to use the RTC2.0 Jazz server for RQM. Is that a possible scenario?

Shutdown the existing Jazz team Server and then start the one which comes as a part of RQM installation.

Guys, you are not understanding my question.

I only want one Jazz Server install... I want to install RTC and RQM on the same port. Is that possible?

I have the exact same issue. I have been using RTC for about a year and a half. I have LOTS of data in my repository. I would like to try RQM. But I want to use my existing Jazz Team Server (JTS).

One option would be for me to install and setup RQM in a seperate directory, running a seperate Jazz Team Server; with an empty repository. Then I could export the repository from my existing JTS, and import it into the JTS for RQM. But ... since RQM is part of the Jazz Platform, shouldn't I just be able to install RQM into the same package as RTC 2.0.0.2? I can do this with RPC and (I think) RRC. Why not with RQM?

There is no current functionality to run both RTC and RQM in the same Jazz Server instance (i.e. in the same Tomcat process and under a single port number).

Of note, you can definitely run 2 or more Jazz Server instances concurrently on the same physical machine. Each would run under their own instance of Tomcat. Just configure each to use a unique set of ports. For example, run RTC on 9080/9443 and RQM on 9081/9444.
