Eclipse Neon and RTC plugin

One of our groups is starting to use the new Neon but we can't seem to get RTC 502 plugin installed. Does anyone know if the RTC 502 p2 plugin works with neon? Do we need to use RTC v6 plugin? 
We're about to upgrade to v6x but aren't there yet.

Chances are high that the 5.0.2 p2 repository won't install into Eclipse Neon due to dependencies within the distribution.  I can though confirm that the 6.0.2 p2 repository does install into Neon; I did it last night.

It does install, but attempting to configure it crashes (https://jazz.net/forum/questions/241530/)

FYI,  while it installs I do see errors for references it makes to things that have changed in NEON.  not sure what functions are impacted but be aware its not advertised as supported yet.
