I am currently running RAD 7.5.0 (with RTC Plugin that comes with RAD). I need to connect to RTC 2.0 server very soon.

I tried to upgrade to RAD 7.5.3 but I still cant connect to RTC 2.0 server. RAD 7.5.3 seems to have RTC 1.0.1 packaged with it.

I tried to run RTC 2.0 Setup and share the eclipse with RAD but that didnt work either.

Any help to solve my problem will me greatly appreciated.

Hi,

We have dev env of RSA 7.5.

We want to keep RSA 7.5 env and need to check in the code to RTC 3.0 server. How to install it?

The embedded RTC client in RSA 7.5 is 1.0 version.

Can I install RTC 3.0 client on top of RSA 7.5?

AFAIK it is not possible. RTC 3.0 Client requires Eclipse 3.5 or 3.6 and
RAD 7.5 is based on Eclipse 3.4

To use RSA 7.5 with an RTC-3.0 server, you would need to run a separate
Eclipse 3.5 or 3.6 instance that would act as your RTC client. When you
are ready to checkin changes, you would switch from RSA to the Pending
Changes view in that RTC client, select "refresh", and then you can do
all your usual SCM operations from there.

I have tried:
1. Install RTC client 3.0 and RSA 7.5.0 separately and launch from the same workspace. It can be installed. But after loading source code from RTC server, the source code can not be viewed on RSA.

2. Upgrade RSA 7.5.0 to 7.5.5, and install RTC client 3.0 on top of it. It can not be installed. It seems that RSA 7.5.5 embedded eclipse is 3.4 still.

Where can I find RTC plugin which can be installed on RSA 7.5 just like CVS plugin?

You shouldn't start both products sharing the workspace. You should load
code from RTC using RTC Client into a sandbox (not its workspace, but
other folder in the file system, in your case the workspace used by RSA).
Then go to RSA and refresh the explorer view to sync with file system
changes.

There isn't RTC 3.0 Client for RAD 7.5.x, just RTC 2.0 Client.
