Integration with Notes?

Hello and sorry if this has been posted before. Does anyone have an idea if it's possible to integrate Notes with RTC, to the extent where an item raised in a Notes database can be synchronised with a Work Item in RTC?
I investigated this a while ago. You can use notes::// type notation but no synching.
It is logically possible (for example, using the Item Synchronizer
framework used by the CQ Connector), but it has not been done yet.
