About Formal Review

Tayaka Mizushima (622016) | asked Jun 02 '09, 12:27 a.m.
Hello, I have an question about Formal Review.

Question:
When some changes are needed after Test Plan/Test Case Approved,
how to set revewer/approver for those changes? (using Formal Review)

Detail:

I assume following scenario with Formal Review (for Test Plan or Test Case).

1. Complete all section (using work item associated with eace section).
2. Do action "Ready for Review" and change status from "new" to "Under Review"
3. Set reviewer & approver using "Fomula Review" section.
4. Each reviewer & approver complete review/approve.
5. Do action "Approve" and change status from "Under Review" to "Approved".

And then some changes are needed, so,

6. Do action "Reopen" and change status from "Approved" to "Draft".
7. Modify some section.

After that, how can I set reviewer or approver for those changes
using Formula Review section?

It seems that any member who have reviewed/approved once before
never be able to added Formula Review section again.
Also, it is not possible to change review/approve status or delete it.

What scenario or use-case is supposed to?

I'm using RQM 1.0.1.1.

Hi Tayaka,
Formal review has been improved a lot in RQM 4.0. This said, you can have multiple review/approval record with it's own section of comment. Comment can be added as many time as needed compared to earlier where only one section was there for approver/reviewer to comment about. Look New & Noteworthy in RQM 4.0 for more info
