Installing Installation manager on RedHat 6.6 JVMJ9VM035 Unable to allocate OutOfMemoryError

jean-claude vauthier (22634856) | asked Mar 03 '15, 5:15 a.m.
Hello,

I'm trying to install "Installation Manager 1.8" on Redhat 6.6 64bits in order to install  RTC 5.0.2 and so on.

When trying to install Installation Manager    (./consoleinst.sh) ,  I have the message :

         JVMJ9VM035 Unable to allocate OutOfMemoryError
JVMDUMP039I Processing dump event "abort", detail "" at 2015/03/03 10:38:27 - please wait.
JVMDUMP032I JVM requested System dump using '/tmp/core.20150303.103827.24410.0001.dmp' in response to an event

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

             Thanks

Hi Jean,

The most likely reason the cores are not being generated is that the ulimit is set too low for cores.  i would suggest setting to unlimited and retrying.
