Invalid line delimiter error occurred during using "scm checkin"

When I use "scm checkin" to check in changeset in Linux platform, I encounter an error as follows. Would you please help to look at it? Thanks a lot.
Invalid line delimiter during checkin for: /***/***/***.tbl (platform)Problem running 'checkin': Unable to checkin due to invalid file encoding or line delimiter.What's more, I'v tried to modify magic.properties, to add a line "*.tbl:delim:none", however, it doesn't work.
