Is RTC client 1.0.1.1 compatible with 1.0.1 server?

Pat Roberto (4111) | asked May 12 '09, 12:24 p.m.
We're planning to upgrade our RTC clients from 1.0.1 to 1.0.1.1 and wanted to know if the 1.0.1.1 client is backwards compatible with the 1.0.1 server. Will the 1.0.1.1 clients still be fully functional? Besides not having access to all the new functionality, are there any other limitations or issues that we need to be concerned about?

Thanks, Pat

Yes, (to the best of my knowledge :-), the 1.0.1 and 1.0.1.1 servers and
clients can be freely inter-mixed (i.e. 1.0.1 clients work with 1.0.1.1
servers, and 1.0.1.1 clients work with 1.0.1 servers).

Cheers,
Geoff
