RQM project area configuration management

 After a set of RQM project areas have been created based on a RQM process template, is there a way to add certain configuration changes to all of the existing RQM project areas instead of manually changing each project area?  If you can't push the changes to all RQM project areas, is it possible to push them to each project area?  I tried the project process sharing approach, it doesn't seem to work with things like custom attributes.
