Missing expected parameter with Draft Work Item via REST

 I am trying to create a draft work item because I have no way of finding out which fields are required to create a work item. I though that a draft work item would allow for the minimum amount of information, and I was hoping that it would be the title only. 

Is there anyway to just have a basic title created via REST?
