Process Engine Customizations
Is it possible to add custom process actions that can be used in process definitions? Similar concept to ClearCase triggers. Is there documentation on how to do this?

For any process-enabled operation (you can see those in the project/team
area editors), you can configure preconditions and followup actions. There are several in the box, such as requiring work item approvals, requiring content in source files, etc. To introduce your own preconditions/followup actions is quite heavyweight and you'll need to write java code.
