BuildAgent login with Tomcat LDAP bluegroups

Sean Brogan (1665) | asked Jan 07 '09, 6:51 p.m.
Hi,
I have Jazz setup using Tomcat and authenticating thru LDAP IBM Bluegroups. When setting up a build agent your tutorial suggests that the build agent have its own user id and workspace.

Is there anyway i can do this? Since I am using LDAP i can't just crate a local user for the build agent.
Do I need WAS so I can support both LDAP and Local users? Any other easier ideas?

Thanks

I don't know of an easy way to create a user registry that has some
local users and some remote users with Tomcat. Hopefully some other
people who have configured Tomcat servers, or WAS servers, that
integrate with the bluepages LDAP might share some advice.

Hey Sean,

You can create a functional id in Bluepages for such a purpose... takes about a week to setup but works like a charm!

Cheers
