Under Widget

There are links to OpenSocial gadgets that can be placed into OpenSocial containers:

e.g Asset search list:

Asset search list:Displays search results in list format for keywords or a Rational Asset Manager search shortcut.

https://ramsrvr13.raleigh.ibm.com:9443/ram7.5.1.2/opensocial/gadgets/assetSearch.xml

if we click on the link, we can select Add Gadget, then the save search icon will be added in the Search

menu.

I think if you can provide the save search icon besides the above link, it will help me to correlate the links

to the icons that will be added, otherwise,  I have to click each icon to check" which one correspond to which" and what its function is.

Same here - I added the widget but I don't have a good understanding of what Ivy wants.

Ivy - may you please elaborate? Possibly add a screen cap?

Thanks
Eric.

Sorry about that , as a new user , I have difficulty asking the clear question and use the right terminology. :-)

Let me try again and thank you for your patience.

After I click the link to "add widget" (as a new user),

I do not know what icons the add widget actions is associated with or resulted with.

See the icons in the screen capture on the right hand side.

There are many icons there - I will need to navigate to each of them to find out what they are for.

If the icons can be places besides the links for add widget, then I will know right away which icon is for that widget actions.

ok - RTC does not exhibit the same UI / icons.
As you are using RAM - please open a new enhancement request against this product.

Regarding OpenSocial gadgets - feel free to develop and publish your own gadgets.
As long as they conform with the OpenSocial standard - http://opensocial.org/

Hope it helps.
Eric.

Thanks for the information about OpenSocial standard.

oh, did I open the question to RTC?  that is why all the confusion.

I am sorry about that, I thought that I marked RAM as the poridyct when I post my question.

I should have also mention about RAM in the question.

Thanks so much for all your help!

This is  what  I mean, please see below, I added an icon to the link as an example - just a mock up  and it should be placed in the beginning instead of the end.

Also I think the Widgets feature is really cool.

I guess you allow user to customize it and add their own?

Then you should let them add their own icons , that will be good.

Thanks
