We get intermittent CRJAZ1822E errors in jts.log.

This is caused by intermittent errors connecting to the LDAP server.

Is  alternateURL supported in the tomcat realm com.ibm.team.repository.localgroups.realm.LocalMappingJNDIRealm.

Or is there a way to configure a "retry" value for LDAP authentication?
