That should get you started. You can also check out some of the posts on Ralph Schoon's blog (http://rsjazz.wordpress.com) and some of his work with the plain Java client libraries (http://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/12/09/analyzing-a-aroject-areas-members-and-roles-using-the-plain-java-client-libraries/). These blog posts will not show you how to do exactly what you are looking to do, but they will lay the foundation for you to use the plain Java client libraries, and you should be able to easily accomplish what you want to do from there.
