RTC 4 Predefined queries can they contain "Input condition values when query is ran"?

Hello,

We are planning an upgrade from RTC 3.0.1.1 to RTC 4.0.1

Is it possible to create a Shared query in RTC 4.0.1 which has Input conditions (e.g planned for and team area) and then upgrade to a 'Predefined Query in the Process Configuration?

Hello Matt,
yes - you may share parameterized queries.
1 - create the query you want
2 - observe: you have icons for each attribute that you can set as parameter

3 - select the attributes you want as param
4 - save your changes

5 - run your query - enter the parameter(s) value(s)

I think the question had two parts "then upgrade to a 'Predefined Query in the Process Configuration?" can we make a custom developed query a PREDEFINED query? vs SHARED?

Good catch Sam - thanks for the correction. So I tested with my 4.0.1 : parameterized queries can NOT be added. This support will come in 4.0.3 with Provide UI for adding queries with parameters to pre-defined queries in the Process Configuration (242263) Thanks. Eric.

Hi, Thanks for your comments Eric, we have a very detailed Dashboard configuration set-up, The set-up takes 30-40 /hours per project. Will you also then be able to configure a Team and Project Dashboard that has a widget linked to the new 'Parameter Query' in 4.0.3? Thanks Matt
