Tech Preview: Web-based method authoring with RDNG:

  • A new feature to export to ReqIF, for import into Rational DOORS Next Generation (RDNG), has been added as a tech preview. To learn about how to use this feature and to do web-based method authoring with RDNG, visit the RMC Community on DeveloperWorks.

Tech Preview: Server-based browsing:

  • A web application is now available as a tech preview that allows RMC configurations to be browsed without the need for publishing. To learn more, visit the RMC Community on DeveloperWorks.

Linux support:

  • Linux support, which was temporarily dropped for RMC 7.5.3, has been re-added in this release.

Usability:

  • Assigning configurations to processes is unnecessary and can cause unexpected behaviors. This capability is now hidden in the UI, but can be re-enabled via preferences, if necessary.

Publishing skin:

  • Minor cleanup of skin code, no observable changes.
