---+ Focal Point Vocabulary Prefixes The Focal Point RDF resource representations also use terms from the Dublin Core, FOAF, OSLC, OWL, RDF, and XML Schema vocabularies. The following table lists the prefixes we'll be using: | *Prefix* | *Namespace URI* | | dcterms: | http://purl.org/dc/terms/ | | foaf: | http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/ | | fpdt: | http://jazz.net/ns/psm/focalpoint/datatypes# | | fps: | http://jazz.net/ns/psm/focalpoint# | | oslc: | http://open-services.net/ns/core# | | owl: | http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl# | | rdf: | http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns# | | rdfs: | http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema# | | xsd: | http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema# | ---++ RDF Vocabulary Term Naming Conventions The naming convention for RDF vocabularies is to start type names and individual names with an uppercase letter and property names with a lowercase letter. The names themselves are camelcased. Acronyms are treated like words in that only the first letter is ever uppercased unless it begins a property name in which case it is lowercased.
