Focal Point has several built-in modules. This document describes them and their attributes.

Built-In Workspace Modules

Focal Point has several built-in modules that are included in every workspace. These are like user-defined modules. They have some built-in attributes and users can configure others.

The following table summarizes the built-in workspace modules:

Members fps:MemberModule fps:Member This module contains users that can access this workspace. Users must be defined in the user module.
Criteria fps:CriterionModule fps:Criterion This module contains the criteria that you use to prioritize elements and visualize the results.
Releases fps:ReleaseModule fps:Release This module contains the releases for planning elements.
Checkpoints fps:CheckpointModule fps:Checkpoint This module contains the checkpoints that you use to review elements.
Resource Types fps:ResourceTypeModule fps:ResourceType This module contains the resource types that you use to plan elements.
Saved Plans fps:PlanModule fps:Plan This module contains your saved plans.
Saved Charts fps:ChartModule fps:Chart When a chart is saved in the Visualize frame, an element that contains the chart contents is saved in this module.
Saved Reports fps:ReportModule fps:Report This module stores generated reports.
Saved Baselines fps:BaslineModule fps:Baseline This module contains saved baselines.

fps:UserModule

Focal Point has a built-in module for users. This module is unlike other modules since it has server scope. The RDF class of this module is fps:UserModule. The RDF type of elements of the user module is foaf:Person. These elements have the foaf:mbox and foaf:name properties. The membership relation between the user module and its elements is given by the property fps:memberUser.
