Adding or removing multiple IBM Rational ClearQuest record links from IBM Rational Requirements Composer (RRC) or IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) artifacts might not update all selected ClearQuest records.

Problem
When using version 3.x or 4.x of Rational Requirements Composer or Rational Quality Manager, you can select multiple Rational ClearQuest records to be linked to or removed from an RRC or RQM artifact.
When the RRC or RQM artifact is saved, backlinks in the ClearQuest records (links from CQ to RRC or RQM that should be automatically created for you) might not be updated.

Workaround
When updating ClearQuest record links from Rational Requirements Composer or Rational Quality Manager,  add and delete the links one at a time and save the artifact after each change. 

You can use the Rational ClearQuest Web client, as needed, to fix any backlinks in ClearQuest records that might not have been updated if you initially tried to add or remove multiple ClearQuest record links from a Rational Requirements Composer or Rational Quality Manager artifact.
