Build Basis: IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization – Method Composer (MEC) 7.6.2 Interim Fix (iFix) 8 and IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (DOORS Next) 7.0.2

Method elements can be defined with the browser, by using IBM® Engineering Requirements DOORS® Next, then imported into the MEC Eclipse client for publishing. See a demo.

For details, see the Web-based Method Authoring with DOORS Next and MEC user guide. To use the WBS authoring feature, you need to download and use the latest MEC project template for DOORS Next.
There is also an older guide for those using MEC 7.6.2 prior to iFix6 (before the WBS authoring feature was added).
If upgrading from MEC 7.6.2 to MEC 7.6.2 iFix6 or later, see the Web-based Authoring Upgrade Guide.
Note that if you have upgraded from MEC 7.6.2 to MEC 7.6.2 iFix6 there is no further upgrade required other than to install the latest MEC interim fix.

Optionally install reports and test data.
