When using a right-click mouse action to open the document-editor pop-up menu, the Cut, Copy, and Paste menu items are disabled.

Workaround

Open the editor pop-up menu by right-clicking in the active editor area (the area that contains text). If the editor includes a vertical scroll bar, the entire editor area is active.
