Extend the requirements functionality, and make it work for you
IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation provides a client extension API that you can use to extend the functionality of the tool by using technologies that you already know, such as HTML and JavaScript. You can create and host a catalog of extensions on a server so that you team can share them.
The following image shows an extension that can check attribute values that are related to the IS0 26262 ASIL standard.
