Workaround: Graphical artifacts cannot be printed by using the browser print function

Summary

Graphical artifacts cannot be printed by using the browser print function.

More Information

You might encounter difficulties using the browser print function for graphical artifacts. If you are in edit mode, the artifacts are not printed because nothing from the editing area is printed.

The browser print function works only if the artifact is in read-only mode and the option to print background colors and images is enabled. To enable that option, in your browser, click File > Page Setup, and select the check box to print background colors and images.

Workaround

Use the Create and Print function to capture the graphical artifact as a PDF file or Microsoft Word document, and then print from the application that you captured the artifact in. For example, if you capture the graphical artifact in a Microsoft Word document, print the artifact by using Microsoft Word. The Create and Print function is on the resource toolbar of the artifact.
