More Information

Problem

When using RTC installed in Eclipse 4.2, the actions to perform accepts, delivers, etc, in the context menu of the Pending Changes view may be missing. The risk of the defect is low in the sense that no data is lost but it makes the Pending Changes view almost unusable.

Workarounds

A workaround which applies to RTC 4.0 installed into Eclipse 4.2 is to select and open the submenu menu with the user’s name, close it again and then trigger the context menu again. The context menu will have its usual entries the second time it is opened. However, this work around does not work in Eclipse 4.2.1 or later. To work around the issue entirely, customers should use Eclipse 3.8.
