Summary
In rich text documents, space cannot be added between consecutive tables.
More Information
When tables are next to each other in a rich text document, there is no vertical space between the tables, and you cannot place the cursor between the tables to add space.
Workaround
To insert vertical space between two adjacent tables, do one of these steps:
- Place the cursor in the first row of the table and press Ctrl+Shift+Up Arrow.
- Place the cursor in the last row of the table and press Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow.
You can also press Ctrl+Shift+Up Arrow to insert a new line above a table when the table is the first element in the document.
