In the rich text editor, the font size of the bullet or number portion of a list cannot be changed.

More Information

When you use the Font Size menu on the editor toolbar to apply a font size to a list, the font size is applied to only the text portion of the list.

Workaround

To specify font size for both the list text and the number or bullet portion of the list, use the Numbered List and Bulleted List properties windows.
