RTC Client & SmartCard Support on Linux
Hi,
I tried SmartCard-based authentication in the Eclipse-based RTC client (V3.0.1.5) on Linux but got an error (CRJAZ1887I), that the Windows-MY keystore is unavailable. This looks pretty much like SmartCard support is tightly bound to the Windows platform. Is this correct? In other words is Linux in terms of SmarCard support unsupported at the time?

One answer
Correct, the client Smart Card Support is for Windows Only.
I realize this response is dated, but I'm providing an answer for others who may have the same question. The Smart Card support is defined in the CLM System Requirements, see the 'Client Operating System Notes' section. For the 3.0.1.5 release, see https://jazz.net/library/article/632 . For the current release, see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/CLMSystemRequirements.
