Do the Filter Expressions when editing a plan view work on the Eclipse Client as well?

Michael Walker (99215201157) | asked Aug 15 '12, 1:48 p.m.
I added an Expression Filter to one of our Release Plans in the Web Client.  For example, type:Defect.  This worked in filtering out all the Defects from the Plan view.  But when I view the Plan in the Eclipse Client the Defects appear in the same plan.

Is this functionality only supposed to work in the Web Client?

Secondary question:  Does this filtering occur before the load or after?  I'm curious if I add in an Expression Filter for a large plan (~500 plan items) will it improve the load time of the plan?

Yes the Expression filters were the Web UI only feature.
Its yet to be implemented in Eclipse client.
Expression filters not working on Eclipse client (197856) is the Enhancement request for the same

No the filtering occurs post load. The plan load times will not improve with the filters.
