Problem connecting to a repository on VM

Sheetal Desai (91188) | asked Sep 12 '08, 4:31 p.m.
Hello everyone,

I have a virtual machine setup for testing RTC changes. I can login to it just fine through the web interface but when I try to create a repository connection, I get a "Failed to logon to <server>" error.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this error before and\or had any ideas to resolved or troubleshoot it.

Thanks

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Hi

Can you explain what bits are on the vm? Client/Server/both??

Check you are connecting to the right machine in the connection info (it sounds like the server is up and running since you can use the Web UI). Are you sure you are pointing to the right server, and using https to connect to the server?

regards

anthony

I have installed both client and server on the VM. If I try to connect to the client on the VM itself using https://localhost:9443 link, it still doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.

Try https://localhost:9443/jazz instead of https://localhost:9443
