Hi

I would like to create a new state group Implemented in between of In Progress and Closed

for epics and story but not for Tasks

But "unfortunately" the state group are system wide and not per Work Item Type.

And so the new state group appears on the Taskboard, also there is no execution item state belonging to this new group.

I there a way to "hide" this new state group from the taskboard, or remove it from the execution items workflows?

Thanks you

erwin

To understand your use case better, why are you creating an "Implementation" state group?

Hi Geoffrey

The initial use case is reporting. To be able to have one report valid for whatever work items, we thought using State Groups for our queries; instead of having to check the different states

I've a drawing I would share, but no idea how to put that here

Thank you

Yes, that all makes sense.

This is not currently supported.  I've submitted work item 216786 Allow control of what state groups are used as Taskboard columns (216786) requesting this functionality.
