Importing Microsoft project 2010 Plans - Help required

Hi All,
I tried importing MS 2010 Project Plans. Looks like manual editing of the xml file would be required prior to an import. It doesn't seem to create tasks out of the MPP files that i import from. Please share your experiences on how to go with it?
