Time Tracking Feature in Agile@scale template

Hi All,

I am using Agile@scale template (https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24028581) and great to see "Time Tracking" feature on the work items.

Is that possible to import the "Time Tracking" feature to an existing Scrum template project?

Cheers,
Simon

Have you migrated to a version that supports time tracking? Have you tried to configure TimeTracking in the Planning section of the process configuration?

I am just wondering, I think I migrated several projects and never noticed that time tracking was not available after migration. I might have overlooked that.

Hi,

I have created a new project area based on Agile@scale template and planning to import the "Time Tracking" feature to an existing scrum template.

Time tracking is to play around an builtin attribute named "Time Spent".

Cheers,
Simon

Hi,

you can't typically "Import" a process into an existing project area.

If time tracking requires that there is a time spent attribute with ID 'com.ibm.team.workitem.attribute.timespent' what you could try is to add that attribute to your work items (if the don't already have it) and see of that works.

Thanks a lot."Time Spent" attribute is already avilable on the Defect WI in scrum template. I tried to create a new tab/section similar to Agile@scale template, but when I save the changes, those new additions are not reflected. Its not getting saved properly.

Cheers,
Simon

Take a look at the section 4 "Optional: To enable time tracking in
default and task work items"

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/topic/com.ibm.team.platform.doc/topics/t_customize_template_formal_features.html

You will need to paste the XML contents in the appopriate sections in
the XML process template.
